Underground and open-pit mining environments need constant inspection for safety and monitoring purposes. The special session will report advanced solutions for autonomous monitoring and control of industrial raw materials plants, including tailing dams, underground tunnels and industrial pipes network. We will present InSAR satellite solutions, mobile robotic platforms and IoT devices all integrated into a unique framework to securely process sensed data and enable analyses optimisation and decision taking.
